🌱Eat Happy FAQ’s

  • Do I have to use supplements when working with you?

That is up to you! I like to try and solve most dysfunctions naturally and through food, but this day and age may limit the amount of nutrients we can get through food due to soil quality and deterioration of crop quality. There are also some nutrients That your body needs but you cannot get through foods. I great example of this is Vitamin B8 for PCOS and hormonal imbalances. There may be occasions where I make recommendations with supplements to help with stress, digestion, adrenals, or other functions, but I always want to respect your budget and your decisions!

  • How do I know if Nutritional Therapy is right for me?

I believe that Nutritional Therapy can work for everyone!

Maybe you aren’t having any issues with bloating or digestion, or your periods are normal and no hormonal issues are apparent...

The education that you will receive on our calls about nutrients, foods, diet culture, preparation, balance, mindset, and more can be shared with your whole family!

The amount of NEW information I’ve learned over the past two years has been so eye-opening and I love sharing how to make simple changes to improve your day-to-day health + wellness!

  • How much do I have to commit to Nutritional Therapy sevices?

Nutritional therapy is not a quick fix. It requires a certain level of time and consistency to allow the body to absorb and rejuvenate fully.

More complex cases are a bit like detective work and we may try different ideas over a few months. This is often because as one symptom or issue is resolved, it shines a light on something else that needs to be addressed, too. We work through them until you feel your best!

I love to offer packages to really dive in and work together for 3-6 months (or beyond!) but I also see people on a more visit-by-visit basis and for general 'maintenance' check-ins after their initial visits!

  • Why does a package cost that much?

There are hours of work in the background which you don't see!

When I take on a new client, we spend 1.5 hours face-to-face in the initial consultation. After that, I spend a minimum of 1-2 hours researching different avenues of interest which relate to your particular case before creating your bio-individual recommendations for our next hour-long visit.

I spend a large amount of time in the analysis of your intensive 4-day Food + Mood Journal (which you provide before the Onboarding Visit) and the post-onboarding research of cortisol testing or labs that you are requesting, which also adds to the overall time I spend on your case.

I believe transparency is key to trust and am always happy to share a breakdown of time spent working on different aspects of the therapy sessions if you want to better understand the fees and investment!

I do offer payment plans for longer-term packages so the initial outlay is more manageable for everyone!

  • Do you accept FSA/HSA payments?

Yes! Payments through FSA and HSA are available. However, I will need a letter from a your healthcare provider or PCP stating that Nutritional Therapy is MEDICALLY NECESSARY to allow these payments to be processed.

  • How long until I see results?

This is an amazing moment where we allow time, cell turnover, nutrition, and overall wellness to take place. I have seen people feel better in weeks to months, so it is really bio-individual!

What I ca say is that the more you comit to your tiny habits and make them an established part of your daily routine, the quicker yo’ll start to see changes happen!
